Jewel Harbin takes care of a customer, Shantan Mukesh, a computer science graduate student. The old hair salon reopens with an open house event on Tuesday afternoon by Jewel Harbin, the owner of HHD Salon which is located in the lower level of Martin Luther King Jr. University Union. Harbin says she feels blessed because of the reopening and mentions, "[I'm] happy to be here, Eastern has a great group of people and to be offering a service to Charleston is the main thing."
