Three different commencement speakers gave speeches during the graduation ceremony for the Eastern Illinois University Class of 2022 Saturday afternoon in Lantz Arena. Representing the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology Marie Koch delivered her speech during the first ceremony. Representing the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Jerimiah Boyd-Johnson presented his speech at the second ceremony. Representing the College of Education, MaryAnn Catt and Esperanza Murillo gave their speeches during the last ceremony.

Programs were handed out at Jason Aguilar’s memorial service that took place at the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union Grand Ballroom Thursday afternoon. On the front of the program was listed a poem written by teammate Za’Quan Singleton a junior organizational devlopment major, in honor of Jason titled “Jason’s Purpose.”
