The male Panther of the Week is going to Sam Bradbury from the track and field team.
The junior thrower from Mattoon recorded a personal best in weight throw and shot put in the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale, Michigan.
With his 18.38 meter weight throw and 16.46 meter in shot put, Bradbury won both categories for the Panthers.
The female Panther of the Week is going to Tiny Lewis from the women’s basketball team.
The junior guard from St. Cloud, Minnesota, recorded 21 points against Tennessee State on Thursday. Along with her 21 points, Lewis also recorded three rebounds and one assist in the 69-49 win over the Tigers.
Lewis scored eight points against UT Martin on Saturday. In the 66-62 win, Lewis also recorded six assists, four rebounds and one steal.
