Eastern’s football program has currently lost a total of four defenders that played in the 2024 season.
Redshirt sophomore linebacker Liam Carr announced on his Instagram account he is entering the transfer portal with one year of eligibility remaining.
“First off, I would like to thank God for his blessings allowing me to play the sport I love at the collegiate level. I would like to thank my loved ones for their sacrifices to support me playing this game,” Carr’s post read. “With that being said, I will be entering my name into the transfer portal with one year of eligibility left. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to continue my student athlete career.”
Carr played in 10 games and recorded two tackles.
The NCAA transfer portal opens on Dec. 9 and closes on Dec. 28.
