The female Panther of the Week is going to Kiyley Flowers from the basketball team.
The senior guard from Independence, Missouri led the Panthers in assists with six against IUIndy Wednesday afternoon. Eastern defeated IUIndy 66-49.
Along with Flowers’ six assists, she also scored eight points, four rebounds and tied with senior guard Alex Rouse with four steals.
The male Panther of the Week is going to Kooper Jacobi from the basketball team.
The graduate forward from Sellersburg, Indiana recorded a double-double against Northern Illinois Friday afternoon.
Jacobi recorded 19 points and 16 rebounds in the Panthers’ 72-59 win over the Huskies. Jacobi also recorded three assists and two blocks.
