The male Panther of the Week is going to Pierce Holley from the football team.
The graduate quarterback from Arvada, Colorado put himself in the record books within Eastern’s football program.
After Eastern’s game against Tennessee Tech University, Holley ended the 2024 season with 3,125 passing yards. Holley is the fourth quarterback in program history to throw over 3,000 yards in one season. Holley joins former Panther quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo, Tony Romo and Sean Payton with this record.
Holley also finished his collegiate career with over 10,000 passing yards.
The female Panther of the Week is going to Macy McGlone from the basketball team.
The senior forward from Greenville, Wisconsin helped the Panthers record their first win of the season against Loyola Chicago Saturday afternoon.
McGlone recorded a double-double with 28 points and 14 rebounds against the Ramblers.
Eastern beat Loyola Chicago with a final score of 66-60.
