The first Panther of the Week is going to Jake Pollock from the men’s soccer team.
The sophomore midfielder from Belleville recorded his first goal with the Panthers against Southern Indiana Saturday.
Assisted by freshman defender David Brown, Pollock scored the first point of the game, giving Eastern a 1-0 lead over Southern Indiana.
The second Panther of the Week is going to David Brown from the men’s soccer team.
The freshman defender from Woodbury, Kentucky, recorded his first goal with the Panthers against Southern Indiana.
Assisted by graduate midfielder Felipe Kerr Lourenco, Brown found the opportunity to score to tie the game 2-2 close to the 63rd minute of the game.
Along with his goal, Brown also recorded an assist to Pollock.
Eastern tied with Southern Indiana 2-2 on Saturday afternoon.
