The first Panther of the Week is going to Alex Tetteh from the women’s soccer team.
The sophomore forward from Plainfield scored two goals against Western Illinois on Sunday afternoon.
Tetteh’s first goal happened off a free kick to put the Panthers up 2-0.
Tetteh’s second goal was off an assist from Avery Richardson.
The second Panther of the Week is going to Abby Reinl from the women’s soccer team.
The sophomore forward from Sheboygan, Wisconsin scored two goals against the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Sunday afternoon.
Reinl scored the first goal of the game with an assist from Morgan Rinker and Carys Grieve.
Reinl’s second goal came off a steal as Reinl went down the middle of the field and dribbled the ball over to the left side for the goal.
The Panthers beat the Leathernecks 4-0 Sunday afternoon at Lakeside Field.
