The first Panther of the Week is going to Catalina Rochaix from the volleyball team.

The sophomore setter from Cordoba, Argentina had a total of 71 assists within the past two games against Morehead State.

Earlier in the week, Rochaix was ranked 28^th in the nation for assists per set, recording an average of 10.47 assists per set.

Rochaix was also ranked 40^th in the nation for total assists, recording a total of 576 assists at the beginning of the week.

Rochaix has a new total of 647 assists throughout 17 games.

The second Panther of the Week is going to Julia Stanev from the volleyball team.

The freshman middle blocker from Reggio Emilia, Italy leads the Panthers in blocks throughout the past 17 games in the season.

Stanev currently has 59 blocks for the season.

Stanev recorded 11 blocks against Morehead State: four blocks on Thursday and an additional seven on Friday.

Stanev’s seven blocks on Friday was a season-high for her.

Stanev also recorded two kills against the Morehead State Eagles on Thursday and five kills on Friday.

Eastern swept Morehead State 3-0 in both games Thursday and Friday at Lantz Arena.

Eastern is currently 16-1 overall, and they are 6-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
