Fall is finally upon us

Staff Editorial

The temperature is decreasing, the leaves are falling and pumpkin spice is back on the menu.

You know what that means: Fall is officially upon us.

It’s time to get out your sweatpants and flannels, prepare for some chilly football games and if you’re feeling festive, find your next Halloween costume.

Whatever you decide to do with the change of the season, make sure to have fun.

Towards the middle of the semester classes seem to drag on and you can find yourself in a rut. While we encourage you to make sure you remain active in classes, do not be afraid to indulge in some fun every now and again.

Charleston is full of areas that are rumored to be haunted, pumpkin patches are ready to be explored in nearby towns and Lake Charleston has beautiful Fall views.

There are so many options to keep yourself refreshed during the mid-fall semester slump, take advantage of them.

Even if that means something as simple as a nap or a walk around campus, your mental health is important and do not forget to give yourself a break.
