The festival was held virtually for the second year in a row due to COVID-19 restrictions.

This year, as well as in the past, participants are encouraged to create edible works of art based on a book of their choice. They then submit photos of their work to be judged by members of the public.

The public chose “The Rainbow Fish,” by Esperanza Murillo; based on the book, “The Rainbow Fish,” by Marcus Pfister as the first-place winner, “The Hobbit,” by Beatrix Brantley; based on the book “The Hobbit,” by J.R.R. Tolkien as the second-place finisher and “The Monster Book of Monsters,” by Lily Porter; based on the book, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” by J.K. Rowling as third place.
