The Eastern men’s soccer team continued conference season on Saturday and Monday against Oral Roberts, losing both matches to their Summit League rival.
Eastern is now 0-3-1 overall this season and 0-2-1 in conference play.
The Panthers were shutout 2-0 in the first match, recording just one shot in the match.
Redshirt-junior goalkeeper Jonathan Burke did achieve a new career-high with 9 saves in the match.
On Monday the offense was able to get off 9 shots, but ended up falling to the Golden Eagles 2-1 in double overtime.
Junior transfer Alejandro Lurbe scored his first goal as a Panther in 67th minute on an assist from junior midfielder Chad Hamler.
Burke once again set a new career high in saves with 10.
The Panthers next match will be their home opener as they host Kansas City March 4 at 1 p.m.
