CAA OKs 2 program revisions Thursday

Staff Report

The Council on Academic Affairs approved two program revisions and one course revision at its meeting Thursday in Booth Library.

Eastern’s Public Health: Community Health B.S. was revised so it now offers four electives instead of three. The revision was made to give students the benefit of more skill-based courses.

NTR 3758: Community Nutrition Interventions was also revised to give the course a greater focus on health behavior theories. The course will also feature more community nutrition specific ideas with a greater emphasis on research.

The NTR program itself will have revisions that will lessen the number of elective hours in the program by three.
