Lincoln Log Cabin’s Civil War Ball set for Saturday

The historic Lincoln Log Cabin is hosting a Civil War Ball on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The ball is free and open to the public; period dress is encouraged, but not required. Modern or other era semi-formal attire is also welcome.

A dance caller will teach era-appropriate dances to attendees at the ball.

Music will be provided by the Salt Creek String Band.

The ball is a part of the Lincoln Log Cabin’s Civil War Weekend, which includes special presentations and reenactments as well as visits from famous generals and President Abraham Lincoln.

Families with children are encouraged to attend.
