Karyn Baldwin (left), Courtney Prais (right), Mallory Johnson (middle) and Nora Richardson play with a football next to the Campus Pond Tuesday afternoon. Richardson is using a branch to retrieve the football back after dropping it into the water.

They said they are all in the  Golden Apple Scholars program at Eastern for the summer internships.

They said they followed the football, which got blown away by the wind, and walked a half of a loop from the east to the west, finally finding it at the pond.
