Analicia Haynes

Analicia Haynes, Editor-in-Chief

Hello!

My name is Analicia Carmen Haynes and I’m the Editor-in-Chief of this spectacular newspaper. I am a senior journalism major (praying to God that I graduate in May of 2019 because I seriously can’t afford this anymore) and I have come a long way since I started as a young, naïve and gullible freshman.

Though I complain sometimes about it, I definitely do a lot and I tend to think that I excel at what I do. I typically write about hard news but I adore soft features that allow me to be creative and I also shoot photos, take and edit video and I record and edit podcasts for the newspaper.

I enjoy meeting and talking to people and I enjoy finding something special about everyone. We all have a story that needs to be shared and that’s why I’m here.

Most importantly though, I fully support the First Amendment and will defend it with every fiber of my being so don’t tell me what I can and can’t do.

I enjoy long walks on the beach and Monty Python.
