Bicycle stolen outside of Old Main

The University Police received a report of a stolen bicycle 1:15 p.m. Monday outside Old Main.
The victim reportedly locked the dark blue bicycle by the ramp leading to the Financial Aid Office before leaving the building Friday. Upon returning Monday afternoon, they found no sign of the bicycle and reported it stolen.
University Police Detective Alex Oakley said the victim was likely a student. Oakley said University Police have classified the theft as a misdemeanor, as the bicycle is worth less than $500.
Meanwhile, University Police are investigating several other crimes.
These include a hit-and-run Thursday morning at Greek Court, deception Thursday afternoon at Old Main, a theft Friday morning at McAfee Gym, another theft Sunday afternoon at Stevenson Hall and a domestic disturbance Sunday evening at the Booth Library.
