Located south east of the main area of Charleston, Lake Charleston has a bike trail running around various paths next to the lake, called Lake View Trail. The trail can be reached by traveling to the end of McKinley Avenue. The trail is open sunrise to sunset and dog walking is permitted, but motorized vehicles are not.
