The men of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity will host the first union party of the semester on Friday at 10 p.m. in the Martin Luther King Jr. University Ballroom.

Phillip Love, the president of Alpha Phi Alpha, said the whole student body is invited to come out and have a good time.

“We just want everyone to come out and party in the union,” Love said. “It’s open to anyone and everyone.”

Love said the party will be filled with students dancing and different Greek organizations strolling.

The theme for the union party is “Golden Paparazzi” to give it a red carpet feel like people are at a movie premier in Hollywood.

“I know a lot of people don’t usually get the opportunity to dress their best, but this is definitely a night for that,” Love said.

Kendel Fields, the service chair of Alpha Phi Alpha, said he would be wearing a button-up shirt, nice blue jeans and dress shoes.

Members of the fraternity will be going around the party taking pictures of people to make them feel like superstars.

Tickets are being sold for $5.00 online at www.universityuniontickets.com until noon on Friday.

Tickets will not be sold at the door.
