Paulette Horton, a sophomore psychology, sings “Slow Motion” by Karina Pasian for members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council members Monday in the Grand Ballroom of the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union. Horton was auditioning to sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the black national anthem, for the upcoming NPHC step show.
