Week-old wonderbaby’s track breaks the top 100
If you haven’t already heard, Jay-Z and Beyonce finally had their baby, which they named Blue Ivy. Trying to top her parents’ unmatchable work ethic, Blue Ivy Carter, now known as B.I.C., hopped in the studio, just a few days fresh out of the womb. The song, “Glory,” with Jay-Z featuring production from the Neptunes, has already climbed to No. 74 on the Billboard charts, making her the youngest person ever to crack the Billboard charts.
I think the best part about that whole story is how effortless the entire thing was. I scroll through hundreds and hundreds of rappers on Twitter every day who are supposedly “makin’ moves” and “about to drop this mixtape” and “ready to blow up.” They apparently need to step their game up. Less than a week old and this baby, again, I repeat, this baby has already made more moves than you. Please stop rapping.
Speaking of “please stop rapping,” Amber Rose released a song with her husband Wiz Khalifa, called “The Fame.” You have to admit, it is slightly catchier than that abomination Kim Kardashian put out awhile ago. But I still don’t like Amber Rose trying to sell herself as a musician. She needs to stick to doing what she does best, which is making Kanye West sad and doing vodka commercials. Amber Rose slept herself to the top and she doesn’t need to be singing herself back to the bottom. Her and Wiz Khalifa are not a “Bonnie & Clyde” type couple. They’re more of a “Bonehead & Chlamydia” couple.
And speaking of chlamydia, things aren’t getting much better for Kim Kardashian, who recently felt a burning sensation when she was dropped as a spokesperson by Sketchers. Sketchers will look to go the same route Old Navy did when they tried to find recreate the appearance of Kim Kardashian: find a look-alike. Sketchers will replace Kim Kardashian with a French bulldog in their ads, including the one set to air during this year’s Super Bowl.
