English professor, Daiva Markelis, began writing a memoir about life as a Lithuanian girl growing up in America 10 years ago. After crafting her life story into a piece filled with truth, humor, and inspiration, Markelis’s memoir, “White Field, Black Sheep”, was published earlier this September.
