Our Take: Palin costumes hot seller this year
With the election just four days after Halloween, The Dallas Morning News reports that one of the best-selling costumes has been the Sarah Palin mask.
Our Take:
Since Sarah Palin has already been made the laughingstock of this campaign by the likes of Tina Fey and Saturday Night Live, why not add to her hilarity by wearing her face as a costume this Halloween?
I can’t take Sarah Palin seriously, especially after she said a month before she was chosen as U.S. Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential candidate, “As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?”
A political comedy Web site, www.236.com, has a pdf available for print-out with an image of Palin making a hilarious face. They call it the “23/6 Scary Mask.”
The only thing scarier than Palin’s politics, I guess, is the popularity she receives from it.
So, while it is enjoyable to poke fun at Palin, I would rather see The Joker costumes dominate the Halloween costume popularity lists over some Alaskan hockey mom.
