The Cook’s Take:

The final product might look like a blob, but it tastes scrumptious on its own or covered with chips – especially tortilla or potato chips. But don’t get crazy here, choose just one type of chips. Oddly enough, the recipe tastes just like hot wings. (Watch out, Buffalo Wild Wings!)

It’s way easy to make and so good that I would recommend trying it at least 50 times.

The majority of the ingredients, like cheese, chicken and ranch dressing will most likely be in the refrigerator, so just do it!

I wasn’t sure how it would turn out when I first made it, but it’s about impossible to wreck.

The great thing about hot wing dip is it’s one of those things you make to YOUR taste and don’t need to measure anything out.

I personally love hot sauce, so I slathered it on. Unfortunately, my roommates don’t like spicy food and were in for a rude surprise. I would definitely recommend asking whoever is eating it what they prefer.

Also, I’m not big on blue cheese but if you are, use it as a substitute for ranch.
