HIV director back by demand
Jay Blackwell, director of HIV education in Rockville, Maryland, is coming back to Eastern due to popular demand.
Blackwell will be speaking about the importance of safety and knowledge about HIV and AIDS.
This is a topic that college students need to be aware of, said Joycelynn Phillips, adviser for minority affairs.
“Mr. Blackwell is so extremely knowledgeable about the topics of HIV and AIDS,” she said. “People need make wise decisions and base what they do on fact.”
The discussion will take place at 6 p.m. in the Charleston-Mattoon room of the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union.
