Pending a two-thirds vote by Student Senate the committee chairs have been named for the semester.

That vote will take place at tonight’s Student Senate meeting.

After each member of the executive board gives its weekly report, the committee chairs will be approved.

Committees focus on a specific area that they deal with. Committees meet on a regular basis and the chairs submit a weekly report to the Student Senate.

The Student Senate meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays in the Arcola-Tuscola Room in the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union.
