Zach Schmidt, 11-year-old from Chicago, practices bach Invention #8 which he will play in a receital on Saturday. Zach has been playing the piano for six years and is participating in the Eastern sponsored band camp that is going on all week.

It’s 10:00 p.m. Monday night and dance music is heard outside, near the Student Rec Center. Drum majors from Eastern’s Smith Walbridge Clinic put down their instruments for a couple of hours to well, get down.
